Ming T. Lu is a seasoned technology executive and current Senior Advisor at XOOTS, a company redefining talent acquisition through AI-powered solutions. At XOOTS, Ming provides strategic guidance on AI-driven engineering workflows and digital workforce transformation. He contributes to confidential initiatives, explores practical AI integrations, and helps shape emerging capabilities that boost team productivity and drive business value.

Prior to his advisory role, Ming held senior leadership positions in the healthcare and technology sectors. As Vice President of Engineering at Nomad Health, he led the engineering team behind a digital marketplace that connects travel nurses with healthcare jobs across the U.S. Before that, he served as Vice President of Engineering at Outset Medical, where he oversaw software development for the company’s next-generation dialysis machines, designed to transform the patient experience in kidney care.

Earlier in his career, Ming was CTO for Emerging Markets at eBay Classifieds Group and Director of Engineering at Walmart Global eCommerce. He built and scaled global engineering teams across Shanghai, Cape Town, Mexico City, and Shenzhen, streamlining software development and driving operational excellence.

With a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of global engineering leadership, Ming now focuses on leveraging AI to enhance developer productivity and deliver high-quality software in the AI-first era.

Ming holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Brown University and a Computer Science Bachelor’s degree from Soochow University, Taipei.
