Wei Lin
Chief Technology Officer | Phison Eletronics
Dr. Wei Lin serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Phison Electronics, where he oversees technological and product planning, AI technology development, and the development of algorithms related to NAND Flash Memory physics. Dr. Lin has invented over 200 NAND Flash-related patents and has authored numerous scholarly articles in the field. The integrated circuits produced using his patented inventions have exceeded three billion units worldwide.
Dr. Lin earned his Ph.D. from the National Chiao Tung University in Electronics. Previously, he held positions as the CTO and Vice President of CoreStorage, a subsidiary of Phison. He is currently an adjunct assistant professor at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, where he collaborates on industry-academic partnerships to advance storage technology.
Redefining AI Infrastructure :
Enterprise Deployment at Scale
AI has evolved from generating human-like content to reasoning, using tools, executing complex tasks, and increasingly interacting with the physical world. At the same time, the way we scale AI is changing—from training ever-larger models, to inference-time reasoning, and now to system-level augmentation through enterprise data, context, memory, tools, and continuous feedback loops.
As both proprietary and open models become capable enough to support a broad range of enterprise workloads, the next challenge is no longer the model alone. It is how to deploy AI securely, efficiently, and at scale. Enterprises must integrate heterogeneous compute and memory, orchestrate resources, manage models, govern data, and control agents as one coherent system.
This keynote will introduce the Phison AI Data Platform (AIDP), an end-to-end architecture that brings together aiDAPTIV-enabled hardware and tiered memory, resource orchestration, AI Ops, data intelligence, and agent management. It will also explore how the rise of GPUs and diverse xPU architectures creates a new opportunity for Taiwan and the United States to move beyond the traditional supply chain and jointly define the infrastructure for the next era of AI.
