This 40-minute Taiwan Tech Summit panel brings together leaders spanning the full stack: cognitive AI brains, simulated worlds, and real-world industrial execution. The Coalition for the Global Alliance for Taiwan Technology and Diplomacy (GATTD)—commonly known as the Global Alliance for Taiwan Technology and Diplomacy—is an international organization based in Silicon Valley. Founded and driven by Taiwanese technology executives, engineers, researchers, and global policy advocates, GATTD serves as a strategic bridge between Taiwan's tech ecosystem and the international diplomatic and economic community.
Mission and Core Focus
GATTD operates at the intersection of "tech diplomacy" and geopolitics. Recognizing Taiwan’s critical position at the center of global semiconductor manufacturing and artificial intelligence innovation, the organization aims to translate technological capability into geopolitical strength, international partnerships, and democratic resilience.
Key pillars of GATTD’s mission include:
Tech Diplomacy: Promoting policy dialogue, cross-border industry partnerships, and public report publishing on emerging tech topics such as AI safety, policy frameworks, and semiconductor supply chain strategy.
Democratic Safeguards: Strengthening technological collaboration between Taiwan, the United States, and global democratic allies to safeguard shared democratic values and supply chain security.
Global Ecosystem Building: Bridging Taiwanese industry talent and organizations—such as the North America Taiwanese Engineering & Science Association (NATEA)—with international think tanks, governments, media, and tech summits.
