Laurent Rains is the Managing Director of Alchemist Accelerator and Alchemist Global Programs, where he leverages his entrepreneurial drive and corporate leadership to build initiatives that identify and support exceptional startups around the world. He has personally interviewed over 1,000 startups and created programs that have helped hundreds of founders find product–market fit. He is passionate about how culture and sales shape a startup’s ability to compete on the global stage. Previously, he co-founded a consumer bicycle-light company, served as an early operator at CarboCulture—building a carbon-capture reactor at pilot scale—and held leadership roles at Google Maps and Autodesk, helping integrate acquisitions and build high-performing product organizations.
