Ethan is a Master’s student in Computational & Mathematical Engineering at Stanford, where he focuses on quantitative finance, statistical modeling, and machine learning. His path began with interests in acoustics and audio signal processing, inspired by his background as a cellist, and grew into a broader fascination with time series analysis and applied mathematics. He has worked on systematic trading strategies and fixed-income research at Vanguard. Ethan holds a Master of Music in Cello Performance from The Juilliard School and a BA in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University, where he also served as Principal Cello of the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra.
