Chin-Yi Cheng is Co-Founder and CEO of Illoca, an AI company rethinking how people create and work with 3D. Trained in architecture and computer science, he earned dual master’s degrees in Design and Computation and Computer Science at MIT. Before founding Illoca, he conducted research at Autodesk AI Lab and Google DeepMind, where he helped pioneer early research in generative AI for architectural design and 3D creation. In 2024, he co-founded Illoca, which has raised $13 million in seed funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners. At Illoca, he is advancing Vibe Modeling, making 3D creation and iteration as intuitive as conversational AI.
