Andy Lin is a passionate entrepreneur, quick learner, and sports enthusiast. He graduated from National Taiwan University with a degree in Bio-Industrial Mechatronics Engineering, where he focused on food manufacturing and the structural changes of ingredients during thermal cycling. He later earned a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, specializing in automation, semiconductor manufacturing, and system integration.
In 2006, he joined ASE, the world's largest semiconductor packaging and testing company, as an application engineer. After gaining 3.5 years of experience in process and material characteristics, he transitioned to the business department to develop skills in operations, business planning, and negotiation. His first startup, Sholics, developed a last-mile grocery delivery system that laid the groundwork for the logistics of his future company, Yo-Kai Express.
Observing the lack of dining options in the U.S. during off-peak hours, he founded Yo-Kai Express. The company uses a smart automated system to provide 24/7 instant hot food, a service that has been well-received by the market. He also actively helps other startups, sharing his entrepreneurial experience and strategies to help them avoid common pitfalls.
Andy Lin 是熱情的企業家、快速學習者與運動愛好者,本科畢業於國立台灣大學生物產業機電工程學系,專注於食品製造與熱循環中成分結構變化研究。隨後於美國加州大學爾灣分校取得電機與資訊工程碩士學位,深入鑽研自動化、半導體製程與系統整合。2006 年,他加入全球最大半導體封裝與測試公司 ASE 擔任應用工程師,累積 3.5 年製程與材料特性經驗後轉任業務部門,培養營運、商業規劃與談判能力。他創立的第一間新創公司 Sholics,開發社區最後一哩生鮮配送系統,為日後 Yo-Kai Express 的物流基礎奠定根基。觀察到美國非餐飲高峰時段餐飲選擇不足,他創辦 Yo-Kai Express,以智慧自動化系統提供全天候即時美食服務,深受市場肯定。他亦積極協助其他新創團隊,分享創業經驗與策略,幫助他們避開常見陷阱。
